I have never seen a presidential administration act more like the mafia in my life. Trump thinks he is Don Corleone for gawds sake ! If the transcripts coming out in public do not wake up my republican friends who support Trump there is no hope for democracy. Quit deluding yourself and show some backbone and sense.Look past your so called economic comfort you may be experiencing at the moment and get a clue as to what your really PAYING for it. Our reputation around the world is crumbling, our beacon on the hill diminished to a dim flame, the labored breath of our democracy a telling sign..cut out this cancer of a presidency while there is hope for recovery.

Well said Teaspoon. Sadly I think the Republicans at Capitol Hill are every bit as corrupt as Trump himself. They have their own agendas and it behooves them to keep crooked Trump in office as he is easily led into thinking any move made is his own idea. He is totally narcissistic.
If Trump was removed from office and Pence were to serve out the remainder of the term,(which is highly unlikely given the time frame for an impeachment trial) while I do not care for Pence and strongly disagree with his beliefs, I feel he would not be controlled by Mitch McConell and his ilk as is Trump and so those "behind the throne" would do anything to prevent Agent Orange from being impeached.
It is truly amazing that there is such a preponderance of evidence illuminating Trump's guilt and yet the Republicans have no qualms about explaining away his obstructions of justice. However, during the past 3 years we have witnessed the office of the president of the United States stripped of any decency, respect or morality by a maniacal sociopath who tweets vulgarities and insults on mainstream media 24/7. Never in my wildest nightmares could I have imagined such a lewd evil presence in the white house. Perhaps Nostradamus hit the nail on the head.
We can only pray that somewhere in that den of inequity called the GOP that a few have enough conscience to do the right thing. It's a very slim chance, but it is what it is.
